The AirTAC GFR40015LC1WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR40015LC1WTK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. This configuration is the 400 size with a 1/2 in NPT port, the fine 5 um filter element (code W), the low-pressure regulator type (code L), a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate as flow passes through, a round MPa-scale pressure gauge fitted, and a built-in reverse/check valve (code K) that holds downstream pressure when the supply is lost. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans the 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um standard or 5 um fine filtration, standard or low-pressure regulation, gauge style and scale, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR400 | G-series filter regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a bench or gantry pneumatic press, this unit filters the shop air to 5 um to protect the valve stack and cylinder seals, then holds a steady low regulated pressure to the press cylinder, with the check valve holding the set pressure if the main supply drops.
Feeding spray guns or coating applicators, the 5 um element keeps water and particulate out of the finish, the low-pressure regulator sets the fine atomising pressure the gun needs, and the MPa gauge lets the operator verify the set point at a glance.
On carton sealers and wrapping lines running continuously, this filter regulator cleans the 1/2 in supply air, keeps actuator pressure stable through the shift, and the differential-pressure drain carries off condensate without an operator stopping to drain a bowl.
Choose the size step by the flow your line needs: 200, 300, 400 or 600, each with its matching port from 1/8 in up to 1 in - this unit is the 400 size on 1/2 in NPT. Pick the drain: differential-pressure (this unit, no drain fitting to operate), automatic (self-draining), or manual (you drain the bowl). Pick the element: 40 um standard or 5 um fine (this unit, code W) where downstream valves and cylinders need cleaner air. The low-pressure type (code L) suits circuits set below the standard regulator range; the round MPa gauge is fitted here, with square embedded gauges and psi/bar scales available as options. Thread is NPT on this unit; PT is the catalogue standard and G is also orderable. A bracket is included, and the K code adds the reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your air demand and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Send us your air demand and operating pressure and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet and check the sizing for your application before you order.
L is the low-pressure regulator type, for circuits set below the standard range; K means a reverse/check valve is fitted, so downstream pressure is held if the supply fails. W is the 5 um fine element instead of the 40 um standard - the right choice when feeding valves, cylinders or applicators that need cleaner air.
