The AirTAC GFR40015LJF2WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40015LJF2WTK is a GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation in a single body. This size-400 unit is ordered with 1/2 in NPT ports, the fine 5 um filter element (code W), the low-pressure regulator type (L), a differential-pressure auto drain on the bowl, a built-in square gauge scaled in psi, and a reverse/check valve (K) fitted. The J code means it ships without a mounting bracket. It handles compressed air only, at up to 1.0 MPa (145 psi) inlet and -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and each size can be ordered with your choice of thread (PT standard, G or NPT), drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, low-pressure or standard regulator, check valve and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding the 1/2 in air main of a carton-forming and sealing machine: the 5 um element keeps water and fine debris out of the machine's valves, while the regulator holds a steady supply pressure to the sealing and clamp circuits and the check valve holds the setting against momentary upstream drops.
Supplying a workholding fixture where clamps must be held at a gentle, stable pressure to avoid distorting the part: the low-pressure regulator type is ordered specifically for reduced setpoints, and the psi-scaled square gauge lets the operator read and verify the clamp pressure directly.
Conditioning the air feed to a skid-mounted panel of solenoid valves and actuators: filtration and regulation in one body saves panel space on the 1/2 in drop, the differential-pressure drain keeps the bowl clear without operator attention, and the check valve prevents backfeed from disturbing the set pressure.
Size 400 with 1/2 in NPT ports suits lines where the pipe run is already 1/2 in; if your compressor-side flow demand is higher, step up to size 600, or down to 300/200 for smaller circuits - the port step is the practical guide, and we can check the published flow curves against your demand before you order. The 5 um element (W) is the finer of the two published grades (40 um is standard), so choose W where downstream valves and cylinders are sensitive to carryover. This unit is the low-pressure regulator type (L); its exact regulation range is not published in the sheet we work from, so confirm the setpoint you need with us first. The square gauge is fitted and scaled in psi; MPa or bar scales and an external round gauge are order options. The differential-pressure drain bleeds automatically as the pressure differential across the element builds - no daily manual draining - but if the bowl needs emptying at a fixed interval instead, a manual-drain (M) variant exists. Thread options are PT (standard), G or NPT; this code is NPT. No bracket is included with the J code - add a bracket variant if you want panel or wall fixing.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a l/min or SCFM figure. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing against the published datasheet curves before you order.
The L in the code selects the low-pressure regulator type instead of the standard one. It is the right choice when the downstream equipment must run at reduced supply pressure. The exact regulation range for the low-pressure type is not published in the sheet we work from, so tell us the setpoint you need and we will confirm suitability on request. The rest of the decode is unchanged: 1/2 in NPT ports, 5 um element, differential-pressure drain, square psi gauge and a fitted check valve.
