The AirTAC GFR40015MLC2WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR40015MLC2WTK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in a single body. It removes water and particulate from compressed air through a 5 um element (the fine grade, in place of the 40 um standard) and regulates downstream pressure in a low-pressure configuration. This unit is built with a 1/2 in NPT port, a manual drain on the bowl, a round pressure gauge reading in psi, and a reverse (check) valve fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT as order options), bracket and reverse valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm flow and datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR400 | G-series filter regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a low-pressure pneumatic press circuit at a main header take-off, where the 5 um element protects the valve stack and the regulator holds a reduced working pressure for the forming stroke.
Conditioning the air feeding conveyor divertor and stopper cylinders on a packaging line, with the check valve holding cylinder position if the main supply drops.
Supplying clean, regulated low-pressure air to pick-and-place modules and grippers on laboratory automation benches, where the 5 um grade and psi gauge suit fine, repeatable actuation.
Size 400 with a 1/2 in port sits in the upper half of the GFR range; step up to size 600 or down to size 300 depending on the flow your line needs - we will confirm sizing against the published curves before you order. The 5 um element (code W) suits actuation that is sensitive to fine particulate; the 40 um standard grade is the usual choice for general supply. Manual drain means an operator opens the bowl drain during checks; if nobody passes the unit regularly, consider the automatic or differential-pressure drain variants instead.
This code specifies the low-pressure regulator type, so tell us your working pressure and we will confirm the adjustment range from the datasheet. The round gauge reads in psi (MPa and bar scales are also available; an embedded square gauge is the standard alternative). Thread is NPT here - PT is the standard and G (BSPP) can be ordered. A mounting bracket is included, and the reverse (check) valve is fitted to hold downstream pressure on supply loss.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM number on the page. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: water collected in the PC bowl is released by opening the drain during routine checks, so the unit needs someone to pass it regularly - automatic or differential-pressure drain variants exist if it does not. This is also the low-pressure regulator type; its exact adjustment range is not published on the sheet, so we will confirm it from the datasheet on request.
