The AirTAC GFR40015MLNTK AirTAC Low-Pressure Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40015MLNTK is a size-400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration has 1/2 in NPT ports, a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, a 40 um standard filter element, a low-pressure regulator type, a fitted check valve and an included mounting bracket. No gauge is fitted, so add your own if you need to read the set pressure. As a low-pressure type, the regulator is intended for settings below the standard range; the exact adjustment range for this type is not published, so confirm it with us against your setpoint.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options include automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), embedded square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm sizing and datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR400 | G-series filter regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, low-pressure regulated air to pneumatic clamps and fixtures, with the manual drain serviced during shift changeover and the check valve holding the circuit as specified.
Clean, particulate-settled air at a low regulated setting for analyser enclosures and sample-handling pneumatics, where a 1/2 in NPT line feeds the instrument panel.
Regulated supply to low-pressure actuator runs on a packaging conveyor, with the 40 um element protecting valves and cylinders and the bowl drained manually at planned stops.
Step up through sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 as your port and air demand grow; this size-400 unit takes a 1/2 in port. Drain is a real choice: manual (this unit, simplest service), automatic, or the differential-pressure default - pick automatic if the unit is mounted where nobody drains it. Element grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W for finer protection. Gauges, scale (MPa, psi or bar), thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) and the bracket are all specified at ordering. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this family as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain bowl: an operator opens it to discharge collected water. If the unit will be mounted where it cannot be drained routinely, order the automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain variant instead.
