The AirTAC GFR400C10JC1WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10JC1WTK is a GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint in a single body. This size 400 unit is threaded NPT3/8 (3/8 in), carries the optional 5 um filter element (code W) instead of the 40 um standard, drains by differential pressure, and is fitted with the external round gauge on the MPa scale plus a reverse/check valve (code K). It is supplied without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR400 series, one of four sizes (200, 300, 400 and 600) with port options from 1/8 to 1 in and PT, G or NPT threads. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulation range on this differential-pressure-drain configuration is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The drain bowl is metal (aluminium alloy is used only on the 600 size). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air for CNC machine tool clamps, tool-change cylinders and actuator circuits, with the 5 um element protecting pilot valves from fine particulate.
Steady downstream pressure for conveyor stopper cylinders, carton-forming presses and bagger jaws, with the check valve helping hold the setpoint if upstream supply dips.
Water- and particle-free regulated air to spray guns and air-assisted applicators in a finishing booth, where the 5 um grade supports clean, repeatable setup.
Choose the size and port against the air demand of the line: this unit is size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port. Set the drain to match your maintenance practice - differential-pressure drain (this unit) discharges condensate as the pressure differential builds, automatic drain (code A) handles it without operator attention, and manual drain (code M) is emptied by hand. The 5 um element (W) suits pilot valves, instruments and other particulate-sensitive components; the 40 um standard element suits general plant air. Gauge scale is selectable (MPa, psi or bar) and the external round gauge is fitted here on MPa. Thread is NPT as ordered; PT is the standard catalogue thread and G (BSPP) is also available. The mounting bracket is omitted on this unit (code J) - add a bracket if you panel-mount.
Because AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the GFR400 datasheet before you order.
The GFR400C10JC1WTK carries the optional 5 um element instead of the 40 um standard, which suits pilot valves, instruments and other components sensitive to fine particulate. For general plant air the 40 um standard grade is the usual choice; both grades are available across the GFR range.
