The AirTAC GFR400C15AJC3WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15AJC3WTK is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint in a single body. This size 400 unit is ordered with a 1/2 in NPT port, an automatic drain that discharges collected condensate without manual attention, a 5 um filter element for finer filtration than the standard 40 um grade, a round pressure gauge reading in bar, and a built-in reverse (check) valve. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the regulator adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT to order) and mounting bracket. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to tool-change cylinders and pneumatic clamps on a machining centre, with the 5 um element protecting the precision valves in the circuit.
Regulating air to carton-sealer and case-packer cylinders along a packaging conveyor, where the automatic drain handles condensate through long production shifts.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to filler and capper actuators on a bottling line, with the built-in check valve holding the circuit against backflow.
Size 400 with a 1/2 in NPT port is the step to take when your line's air demand outgrows size 300; match the size and port to the flow you need, and we will confirm the fit from the published flow curves before you order. The automatic drain keeps the polycarbonate bowl clear of condensate on its own; manual and differential-pressure drains are available elsewhere in the series if you prefer a different regime. The 5 um element (code W) is the finer option versus the standard 40 um grade - choose it where downstream valves and cylinders need cleaner air. The round gauge on this unit reads in bar; an embedded square gauge and MPa or psi scales are the alternatives. PT is the standard thread, with G and NPT as order options, and this configuration is supplied without a mounting bracket.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR400 flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your operating pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet before you order.
The 5 um element (code W) filters more finely than the standard 40 um grade, which helps protect sensitive downstream valves and cylinders. The automatic drain ejects collected condensate by itself, so the bowl does not need manual draining - useful on lines that run unattended.
