The AirTAC GFR400C15ALC2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator, G1/2, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400 series combines water and particulate filtration with pressure regulation in a single body: air passes through a 5 um element (code W), then through the low-pressure regulator, while condensate is expelled by the automatic drain. This unit is built for 1/2 in (G1/2) G-thread ports, carries a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and operates from -5 to 70 C in non-freezing conditions. It is supplied with an external round psi gauge, a reverse/check valve, and a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and can be ordered with differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, a 40 um or 5 um element, embedded square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning for a carton-sealing machine: the 5 um element protects the sealing cylinders from water and particles, while the low-pressure regulator holds a steady supply pressure for consistent jaw action.
Feeding filtered, regulated air to the clutch and brake circuit of a small mechanical press, where the fitted reverse/check valve helps hold the set pressure against backflow.
Supplying conditioned air to the diverter gates and stop cylinders along a sorting conveyor, with the automatic drain clearing condensate before it can reach the directional valves.
Size and port step up together across the GFR range: sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 cover ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, so choose the step that matches the pipe and the air demand of the machine. This unit is the 400 size with a 1/2 in G-thread port. The decodable choices are the drain (differential-pressure as standard, automatic as here, or manual), the element (40 um standard, 5 um as here for finer protection), the gauge (embedded square as standard, external round as here, in MPa, psi or bar scales), and the thread (PT standard; G and NPT are order options). The regulation range of the low-pressure type is confirmed on request. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one number we can quote. Tell us your line pressure and the air demand of your equipment, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The embedded square gauge is the standard fitting; the C2 code on this model specifies the optional external round gauge with a psi scale. MPa and bar scales are also available if you prefer a different unit of measure.
