The AirTAC GFR400C15ALF2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15ALF2WGK is a GFR-series filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates the pressure delivered downstream. This size 400 unit has a G1/2 port (PT is the standard thread; G and NPT are order options), a 5 um filter element, an automatic drain, the low-pressure regulator type, a built-in reverse/check valve and an included mounting bracket. The polycarbonate bowl collects condensate for the automatic drain to expel, and the fitted square gauge reads in psi. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family runs from size 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) filtration, standard or low-pressure regulation, square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and any datasheet figure for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Fed from the shop air drop, this unit filters the supply to 5 um and regulates it down for the clamping cylinders that grip the workpiece, with the fitted square psi gauge giving the setter a direct local reading at the fixture.
Mounted where the packaging machine ties into the main air header, it conditions the air feeding film-seal cylinders and gate actuators, while the automatic drain clears bowl condensate through shift changes without an operator opening the bowl.
On a test rig running sensitive gauges and transducers, the 5 um element takes fine particulate and water out of the supply, and the low-pressure regulator type suits circuits set well below normal line pressure.
Within GFR400 this model already fixes the 1/2 in port, the 5 um element, the automatic drain, the low-pressure regulator, the square psi gauge and the built-in check valve. If you are selecting across the range: step between sizes 200/300/400/600 to match the port and flow path your line needs; pick 40 um for general protection or 5 um (W) where downstream valves and cylinders need finer air; choose the automatic drain for unattended condensate removal, a manual drain where an operator checks the bowl, or the default differential-pressure drain; and order PT (standard), G or NPT thread to suit your piping, with a bracket where mounting is needed. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application conditions and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number for this model. Send us your line pressure, downstream demand and port size, and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet for this exact unit before you order.
This model carries the W-code 5 um element, the finer of the two published grades, which suits downstream valves, cylinders and instruments that need cleaner air. 40 um is the standard grade across the GFR family and is the right choice for general protection; both grades are orderable in size 400, alongside the drain type, gauge scale and thread options.
