The AirTAC GFR400C15ALJC2WG AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15ALJC2WG is a 400-size filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration carries a 5 um filter element (code W, versus the 40 um standard), an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention, a low-pressure regulator type, and an external round gauge reading in psi. The port is G1/2 (1/2 in) with G (BSPP) thread, maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). No mounting bracket is included with this code.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and offers a choice of drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT as order options) and bracket fit. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, pressure-controlled air to carton-sealing and wrapping machines, where the 5 um element protects directional valves from fine particulate and the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the downstream circuit without daily attention.
Regulating supply to pneumatic clamps and holding fixtures on assembly fixtures that run at setpoints below the standard regulator band, with the low-pressure regulator type matched to the circuit and the round psi gauge giving a local setpoint readout.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to cylinder-driven diverters, stops and lifters on conveyor systems, with the G1/2 port suiting the header drop and the psi gauge letting operators verify line pressure at the point of use.
Within the GFR400 frame the real, decodable choices are: the port step (G1/2 here, with neighbouring sizes stepping flow capacity up or down); drain type (automatic here, versus manual or the differential-pressure default); filter grade (5 um here for finer particulate, versus the 40 um standard); gauge (this unit carries an external round gauge with psi scale; an embedded square gauge with MPa/psi/bar scales is the alternative); and thread (G here; PT is the standard, NPT an order option). This code is supplied without a mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 size as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet for your application before you order.
The automatic drain ejects collected condensate on its own, which suits units mounted in awkward positions or on lines that are not attended daily. Manual and differential-pressure drain versions of the same GFR400 filter regulator are also available if you prefer different drain behaviour.
