The AirTAC GFR400C15ALJC2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15ALJC2WGK is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds a regulated downstream pressure in a single body. This 400-size unit is built with a 1/2 in G (BSPP) port, a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two published grades), an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention, and the low-pressure regulator type. It is supplied with an external round gauge reading in psi and a reverse (check) valve fitted; no mounting bracket is included. Maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl suits the 400 size; only the 600 size uses an aluminium alloy bowl.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. GFR filter regulators are published in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port options from 1/8 to 1 in, plus choice of drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT as order options) and bracket. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, we confirm flow and other datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding carton sealers, case erectors and wrap-tension cylinders on a packaging line, where clamp and tension circuits run at reduced pressure and need water and particulate removed before the valves.
Regulating supply to gate and diverter cylinders on a distribution conveyor, with the 5 um element protecting the directional valves that index packages down the line.
Conditioning and regulating air to pneumatic grippers on a pick-and-place robot cell, with the round psi gauge letting technicians set and verify grip pressure during changeover.
The real choices when specifying a GFR unit: step the size (200/300/400/600) and port (1/8 to 1 in) against the flow your circuit needs - the larger the size, the larger the port and flow capacity. Choose the drain: differential-pressure (default), automatic (as on this unit) or manual. Choose the filter grade: 40 um standard or 5 um (code W) for finer protection of downstream valves and cylinders. Choose the gauge: embedded square (MPa, psi or bar scale) or external round, and the thread: PT is the standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; brackets are optional. This unit is the low-pressure regulator type; its setting range is not published as a single figure, so ask us to confirm it against your circuit. Flow is published as curves, not a rated number - send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm from the datasheet whether the GFR400 at G1/2 suits your application before you order.
The automatic drain ejects collected condensate from the bowl by itself, so the bowl does not need regular manual draining. GFR filter regulators can also be ordered with a manual drain (code M) or the default differential-pressure drain (blank); the drain letter in the model code selects it.
