The AirTAC GFR400C15ALJF2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15ALJF2WGK is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This size 400 unit is threaded G1/2 (BSPP), carries the 5 um filter element (the W grade, finer than the 40 um standard), drains condensate automatically from its polycarbonate bowl, and its regulator is the low-pressure type, intended for circuits held at a lower set pressure than a standard unit is trimmed for. An embedded square gauge with a psi scale is fitted, a reverse/check valve is built in to hold downstream pressure if the upstream supply dips, and no mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and options across drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT to order) and bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, we confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a pneumatic clamping or press fixture that works at a reduced set pressure, the low-pressure regulator trims the line while the 5 um element keeps water and fines out of the clamp cylinders.
On a pick-and-place gantry, the built-in reverse/check valve holds downstream pressure if the upstream supply dips, so grippers and cylinders keep their set while the 5 um element protects the directional valves.
Feeding atomizing air to a spray booth or coating line, the unit filters the air to 5 um, regulates it at low pressure, drains condensate automatically and shows the set point on the psi gauge.
Choose the size by port and flow demand: this unit is size 400 with a 1/2 inch port; step down to 300 or 200, or up to 600, as your line requires. Drain options are differential-pressure (the default), automatic (fitted here) or manual. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with the W code (fitted here). Gauges: the embedded square gauge (fitted here, psi scale) or an optional external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scales. Thread is PT as standard; G (BSPP) and NPT are order options - this model is G. Brackets are optional; this configuration omits one. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and expected air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request.
The L code makes the regulator a low-pressure type, intended for circuits set below the standard range; its exact adjustment range is not published, so we confirm it on request. The A code fits the automatic drain, which removes condensate from the bowl without manual attention - choose manual or differential-pressure drain instead if your maintenance routine prefers it.
