The AirTAC GFR400C15ALJNWT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15ALJNWT is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This size 400 unit is threaded NPT1/2 (1/2 in), carries the 5 um filter element (code W) for finer air than the standard 40 um grade, and has an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual bleeding. The regulator is the low-pressure type, and this configuration is supplied without a gauge and without a mounting bracket; the bowl on a size 400 unit is polycarbonate.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options including manual or differential-pressure drains, the 40 um standard element, gauges, brackets and PT, G or NPT threads. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, low-pressure regulated air to clamps and fixtures on a CNC machining cell, with the automatic drain keeping condensate out of the circuit during long unattended runs.
Conditions air for diverters, pushers and gripper cylinders on a packaging conveyor, where the 5 um element helps protect sensitive directional valves from particulate carryover.
Serves bench-scale process rigs and laboratory pneumatic circuits that need fine 5 um air at reduced, stable low pressure rather than full shop-air settings.
Size 400 with a 1/2 in port sits in the upper half of the GFR range; step up or down (200/300/400/600) according to the air demand of your line, and confirm the match against the published flow curves before ordering - we can check the datasheet with you. This unit is the low-pressure regulator type; if your circuit runs at conventional shop-air settings, the standard type may suit better, and the exact adjustment range of the low-pressure version is confirmed on request. Drain choices are differential-pressure (default), automatic (this unit) or manual; element choices are 40 um standard or 5 um (W, this unit); gauge, bracket and PT, G or NPT thread are order options.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so no rated flow number is quoted here. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The A in the code means this unit discharges collected condensate automatically, with no daily manual bleeding. The same size 400 filter regulator can be ordered with a manual drain or with the differential-pressure (default) drain instead - just ask for the alternative suffix.
