The AirTAC GFR400C15F2K AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/2 in PT, psi Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15F2K is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure. This configuration has PT1/2 ports, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain, a polycarbonate bowl, a built-in square gauge scaled in psi, a fitted reverse (check) valve and a mounting bracket. It takes up to 1.0 MPa (145 psi) inlet, operates from -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and regulates from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family covers sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options include 5 um filtration (code W), automatic or manual drains, MPa/psi/bar gauge scales, an external round gauge, and G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

At the paint booth, the unit supplies spray guns with air stripped of water and particulate and held at the pressure the booth was set up for, while the fitted check valve blocks reverse flow back toward the supply side.
On a bottling or carton-packing conveyor, the unit feeds pneumatic cylinders and grippers with clean air regulated to the pressure the machine was commissioned at, so stroke timing stays consistent through the shift.
Machine-shop CNC fixtures and clamps receive particulate-free air held at the clamping pressure called out on the setup sheet, with the psi gauge giving the operator a direct reading at the machine.
Size 400 with PT1/2 ports suits lines with higher air demand; step up or down through sizes 200-600 as your requirement changes. The differential-pressure drain bleeds the bowl as the pressure differential across the element builds, with automatic (A) and manual (M) drain versions orderable in the same size. The standard element is 40 um, with a 5 um (W) option for finer filtration. The fitted square gauge reads in psi, with MPa or bar scales and an external round gauge available, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads can be ordered in place of PT. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request.
This unit drains the bowl automatically as the pressure differential across the filter element builds, with no operator action needed. If you prefer, automatic (code A) or manual (code M) drain versions can be ordered in the same size.
