The AirTAC GFR400C15F2T AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/2in NPT, Psi Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15F2T is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady. This size 400 unit has a 1/2 in NPT port, a differential-pressure drain that clears collected condensate automatically as the pressure drop across the element rises, standard 40 um filtration, and an embedded square gauge reading in psi. The regulator is the standard type with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range, maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), working temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), a mounting bracket is included, and no reverse/check valve is fitted.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options including automatic or manual drains, a 5 um filter element (code W), G or NPT thread, and an external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales. Flow for the series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed ahead of a CNC machine tool's pneumatic valve stack, it strips compressor carryover water and particulate at 40 um and holds a steady set pressure for tool-change cylinders and workpiece clamps, with the psi gauge readable at the machine.
Mounted where the air line drops to a bottling or packaging conveyor, it conditions the supply feeding diverters and pusher cylinders, keeping their set pressure stable through continuous start-stop cycling on the line.
Feeding a bench assembly cell of air cylinders and grippers, it regulates supply pressure for shift-long cycling while the differential-pressure drain clears accumulated condensate without a daily manual blowdown routine.
Pick the size step (200, 300, 400, 600) and port against the air demand of the circuit; larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow, and we can confirm the flow curve for any size on request. On this family you also choose the drain - differential-pressure (this model), automatic (A) or manual (M) - the filter grade, 40 um standard or 5 um with code W, the gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar), the thread (PT is the AirTAC standard; G and NPT are ordered options, as on this NPT unit), and whether a mounting bracket is included. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Ask us and we will confirm the flow curve and datasheet for the GFR400 at 1/2 in NPT against your application before you order.
The trailing T means the ports are NPT thread; PT is the AirTAC standard and G (BSPP) is also a catalogue option to order. This unit uses the differential-pressure drain (the default); automatic (A) and manual (M) drains and a finer 5 um element (code W) are available in the same size.
