The AirTAC GFR400C15JF3WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15JF3WTK is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in a single body. This size 400 unit is threaded NPT1/2 (1/2 in), carries the optional 5 um filter element, drains condensate by differential pressure, and has a standard regulator adjustable from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). A square pressure gauge scaled in bar is fitted, a reverse/check valve is built in, and the unit is supplied without a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The drain bowl on this size is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options across the family include manual or automatic drains, the 40 um standard element, alternative gauge scales and an external round gauge, G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard, and mounting brackets. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use air preparation for clamps, tool-change cylinders and chip doors on a CNC machining centre, with the 5 um element protecting fine sealing surfaces and the bar gauge giving operators a local setpoint reference.
Filtered, regulated air for stopper cylinders, diverters and actuated guides along a packaging or bottling conveyor, with the built-in check valve blocking reverse flow when the supply side is vented.
Clean, regulated air to pneumatic grippers and press cylinders on an assembly cell, where the differential-pressure drain clears condensate without interrupting the cycle.
Size and port set the air capacity: step from 200 up to 600 as your flow demand grows, and match the port to your piping - here NPT1/2 (1/2 in). Choose the drain: differential-pressure as on this unit, automatic, or manual. Choose the element: 40 um standard or 5 um (this unit, code W) for finer protection of downstream equipment. Gauges are the embedded square type; this one is scaled in bar, with MPa, psi or an external round gauge available as options. Thread is NPT here; PT is the AirTAC standard and G (BSPP) can be ordered instead. Brackets are optional and this configuration has none. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the datasheet curve and correct sizing for your application on request.
This unit carries the optional 5 um element (code W) for finer protection of downstream equipment; the family standard is 40 um. Both grades use the same body, drain and regulation range, so the choice is about how clean the air needs to be, not about the pressure setting.
