The AirTAC GFR400C15LC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15LC1WT is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds a reduced downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is a size 400 unit with a 1/2 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (code W), a differential-pressure drain, and the low-pressure regulator type. It is fitted with a round MPa pressure gauge, includes a metal bowl, and comes with a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family covers sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G (BSPP) or NPT as order options, plus a choice of drain type, filter grade and gauge. Max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filter and hold reduced pressure to the clamping cylinders on a workshop press: the 5 um element protects the directional valve from swarf and condensate, and the low-pressure regulator type suits a reduced-pressure clamp circuit.
Condition the supply to pick-and-place grippers on a robotic weld cell - water and particulate are removed at 5 um while the regulator holds grip pressure steady between part changes.
Condition air to the cylinders and actuators on a carton-forming packaging line: the differential-pressure drain clears collected condensate as air flows, and the 1/2 in port feeds the main drop.
Choose the size by port and flow: size 400 carries the 1/2 in port on this unit, and larger sizes move more air - match the step to your downstream consumption rather than to pipe size alone. Drain options on GFR are differential-pressure (as fitted here), automatic (A) and manual (M); a differential-pressure drain works off the flow-driven pressure drop, so pick automatic for unattended drops or manual where someone checks the bowl. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with the W code, as on this unit. Gauge scale is MPa, psi or bar, and thread is PT standard with G (BSPP) and NPT available to order - this unit is NPT. Because flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, send us your application conditions and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your working pressure and downstream air consumption and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet for this exact model before you order.
This GFR400 is the L low-pressure type, intended for circuits that run below the standard regulator range. The exact adjustment range for the low-pressure type is not published on the catalogue sheet we work from, so ask us and we will confirm it from the datasheet. Max inlet pressure is still 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the temperature range is -5 to 70 C.
