The AirTAC GFR400C15LC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15LC2G is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: one body that strips water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady. This 400-size unit is set up with G1/2 (BSPP) ports, the low-pressure regulator type, 40 um standard filtration and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically as air flows through. It comes with an external round gauge reading in psi and an included mounting bracket; no reverse (check) valve is fitted. Max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family covers sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and options that include automatic or manual drains, a 5 um (code W) element, embedded square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, G or NPT threads and bracket choices. Flow is published as a curve rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, low-pressure regulated air to the actuator and valve manifold on a carton-sealing or stretch-wrapping line, where the 1/2 inch drop matches the machine's main air inlet.
Holding fixture pressure steady on a CNC milling or turning cell, where workpiece clamps need clean air regulated at a set low pressure and a psi gauge the operator can read at a glance.
Supplying clean, regulated air to air-piloted process valves on a water treatment or chemical dosing skid, with the differential-pressure drain handling condensate in continuous service.
Work through the decodable choices in order. Size and port: the 400 size with G1/2 ports suits circuits plumbed at 1/2 inch; step up to 600 or down to 300/200 based on the air demand of the line - we will check the flow curve with you. Drain: this unit uses the differential-pressure drain (the default); automatic (A) and manual (M) drains can be ordered in the same size. Filtration: 40 um is the standard element here; specify code W for the 5 um grade where finer particulate protection is needed. Gauge and scale: this configuration carries an external round gauge on a psi scale; an embedded square gauge and MPa or bar scales are the alternatives. Thread: PT is the G-series standard, while G (this model) and NPT are catalogue options to order. A mounting bracket is included; code J deletes it. Because rated flow is published only as curves, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as a curve, not a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet curve and check the sizing for your application before you order.
This model uses the differential-pressure drain, which discharges collected condensate automatically as air passes through the bowl. The same 400 size can also be ordered with an automatic drain (code A) or a manual drain (code M) if your maintenance routine prefers a scheduled or push-button dump.
