The AirTAC GFR400C15LC2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15LC2WGK is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This size 400 unit is threaded G1/2 (1/2 in), carries a 5 um filter element, and drains condensate by differential pressure, the catalogue default. Its regulator is the low-pressure type, intended for circuits that run at lower set pressures than the standard version. A round gauge scaled in psi is fitted, a reverse (check) valve is built in, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of 40 um or 5 um filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, embedded square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, low-pressure regulated air supply to clamping fixtures on a CNC machining line, with the built-in check valve there for circuits that need to hold their downstream side.
Point-of-use conditioning for cylinders and grippers on a packaging machine, where the 5 um element protects downstream valves from particulate and the round psi gauge gives operators a local setpoint readout.
Conditioning a supervised laboratory air loop that runs at low set pressures, where the low-pressure regulator type, polycarbonate bowl and differential-pressure drain suit a clean, non-freezing environment.
Size and port set the air capacity: this is size 400 with a G1/2 (1/2 in) G-thread port, and you can step up or down a size if your line needs more or less flow. Choose the drain to match how the unit is attended: differential-pressure (this unit) discharges as pressure drop builds, automatic drains continuously, and manual needs periodic draining. Filtration is 40 um standard or 5 um (this unit, code W) for finer protection of downstream components. Gauges are embedded square as standard or external round, scaled in MPa, psi or bar; this unit carries a round psi gauge. Thread is PT as the standard, with G and NPT as order options, and a bracket is included here.
Because AirTAC publishes flow as performance curves rather than one rated figure, send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR400 flow as performance curves rather than a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM. Send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the figures from the datasheet before you order.
This unit drains condensate by differential pressure, the catalogue default, which discharges as pressure drop across the element builds. If your compressor runs unattended or air demand is low, an automatic drain (code A) or a manual drain (code M) can be ordered instead on the same GFR400 body.
