The AirTAC GFR400C15LF2K AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/2 in PT Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15LF2K is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: a 40 um filter and a pressure regulator combined in one body, so a single size-400 unit removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds the downstream pressure you set. This configuration is ported PT1/2 (1/2 in PT thread), uses the standard 40 um filter element with a differential-pressure drain, and is the low-pressure type of regulator. It comes with the embedded square gauge scaled in psi, a built-in reverse (check) valve, and a mounting bracket. The polycarbonate bowl suits the non-freezing -5 to 70 C working range, and the maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is made in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and can be ordered with manual or automatic drains, a 5 um (W) filter element, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, different gauge scales, and with or without the check valve or bracket. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use preparation for a packaging line: the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale before carton-sealing and case-erector cylinders, while the regulator holds a fixed low supply pressure to the machine's air circuit.
Regulated air for clamping fixtures and pick-and-place cylinders at an assembly workstation, with the check valve blocking reverse flow back through the unit and the psi-scaled square gauge giving operators a local pressure readout.
Air preparation for conveyor-mounted diverters, stoppers and cleaning stations, where one size-400 filter regulator serves several downstream devices on a 1/2 in PT drop from the main header.
The real choices within GFR are the size and port step (200/300/400/600, 1/8 in to 1 in), which you match to the air consumption of the circuit; the drain (differential-pressure as here, automatic, or manual); the filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um with code W for finer particulate); the gauge (embedded square as fitted here, optional external round, scaled in MPa, psi or bar); the thread (PT standard, G/BSPP or NPT to order); the check valve; and the bracket. Regulation range depends on the type: this is the low-pressure type, and its exact adjustment range is not published, so we confirm it on request. Because flow is published only as curves, not a single rating, ask us to check the curve data against your required flow before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your operating pressure and required flow and we will confirm the curve data and sizing from the datasheet on request.
The L code selects the low-pressure version of the GFR400 regulator instead of the standard type. Its exact adjustment range is not published in our data, so we confirm it on request; the unit otherwise keeps the 40 um filter, differential-pressure drain, psi-scaled square gauge and check valve shown in the code.
