The AirTAC GFR400C15LJC1T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR series combines filtration and pressure regulation in a single body: compressed air passes a 40 um element that strips water and particulate, then the regulator sets the downstream pressure. This unit is the size 400 body with a 1/2 in NPT port, the low-pressure regulator type, a polycarbonate bowl with a differential-pressure drain, a round gauge reading in MPa, no reverse/check valve and no mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, plus drain, filter-grade, gauge, thread and bracket options to suit the installation. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Rated flow for the series is published as curves rather than a single figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clamps and swing cylinders on a CNC machining cell, where the low-pressure regulator holds the clamp circuit at its set pressure downstream of the 40 um filtration and the round MPa gauge gives the setter a direct reading.
Air preparation for case-packing and wrapping machines, filtering the shop air supply and regulating it to the pressure the cylinder and gripper circuits were set up for, with the drain keeping free water out of the valves.
Supplying blow-off nozzles or air knives on a filling or drying line, where the low-pressure regulator type is specified instead of the standard type and the 40 um element protects the nozzles from particulate and water carryover.
Size and port step up with air demand: the 200, 300, 400 and 600 bodies carry ports from 1/8 to 1 in, so size 400 with its 1/2 in port suits circuits drawing more air than a 300 body is chosen for - confirm the exact step against the published flow curves before ordering. Drain choice is differential-pressure (the default on this unit), automatic (code A) or manual (code M); filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W. Gauges are embedded square as standard with an optional external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales - this configuration carries the round MPa gauge. Threads come as PT standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; brackets are optional and this unit omits one. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
Rated flow for the GFR series is published as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, port size and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the AirTAC datasheet on request.
It selects the low-pressure regulator type instead of the standard type. The exact adjustment range for the low-pressure variant is not published in the material we hold, so we confirm it on request. The rest of the code reads as size 400, 1/2 in NPT thread, no bracket, round MPa gauge, differential-pressure drain and 40 um filtration.
