The AirTAC GFR400C15LJF1TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15LJF1TK is a size-400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration is the low-pressure type, fitted with a 40 um standard filter element, a differential-pressure drain bowl, an embedded square gauge scaled in MPa, and a reverse/check valve. The port is 1/2 in NPT thread, and no mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with 1/8 in to 1 in ports, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, a 5 um (code W) filter element, gauge scale choices, and bracket options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a bank of directional control valves on a packaging machine, where filtered air and a steady low set-point keep spool operation consistent shift after shift.
Point-of-use conditioning ahead of a weld-clamping circuit: water and swarf are dropped out at the 40 um element while the regulator holds the clamp pressure the cell was commissioned at.
Supplying low-pressure air to loom and spinning-line actuation, where the low-pressure type regulator, MPa gauge and check valve protect the circuit from upstream decay.
Size 400 with a 1/2 in NPT port suits lines that need larger flow capacity than the 200/300 sizes; step up or down by port against your demand. Because this is the low-pressure type (code L), it is intended for circuits set below the standard regulator range - the exact adjustment range for this variant is not published, so confirm it with us before ordering. The 40 um element is the standard grade; choose the 5 um W option where downstream valves and cylinders need finer filtration. The differential-pressure drain bleeds accumulated condensate automatically as pressure differential builds - no manual draining routine. The fitted square gauge reads in MPa; psi or bar scales and an external round gauge are alternatives. NPT is an order option alongside the PT standard, and this unit ships without a bracket.
Flow for the GFR series is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your port size, working pressure and demand, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
K means a reverse/check valve is fitted, holding downstream pressure if the upstream supply drops. This unit also carries a differential-pressure drain (no drain code in the position): condensate collected in the metal bowl is discharged automatically as the pressure differential builds, with no manual draining needed.
