The AirTAC GFR400C15LNT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15LNT is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 400 unit has a 1/2 in NPT port, a differential-pressure drain on the bowl, a 40 um standard filter element, and the low-pressure regulator type (code L). No gauge is fitted (code N) and no reverse/check valve is fitted, while a mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the bowl on this size is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options that include automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a finer 5 um element (code W), embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the sizing figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clamp cylinders on a CNC machining fixture, where the filter stage catches compressor moisture and pipe scale before they reach the clamp seals and the regulator holds the clamp pressure setting at the fixture.
Supplying sealing and forming cylinders on a packaging line, where a single body at the machine drop handles both water and particulate removal and the pressure setting for the machine's air circuit.
Setting a reduced supply to web-handling or spray stations on a paper or film converting line, where the low-pressure regulator type is specified and the 40 um element protects the downstream components.
Size and port set the air capacity: this unit is size 400 with a 1/2 in port, and you can step up or down a size if your line needs more or less flow - ask us to check the published flow curves against your demand before ordering. Drain choice matters: differential-pressure (this model) drains while air is flowing, automatic (code A) drains continuously, and manual (code M) needs periodic draining. Filter grade is 40 um standard; choose 5 um (code W) for finer protection downstream. Gauges are optional - embedded square or external round, with MPa, psi or bar scales - and this configuration has none fitted. Thread: PT is the AirTAC standard; G (BSPP) and NPT (this model) are order options. The bracket is included on this unit (code J omits it). The L in the code marks the low-pressure regulator type; its exact adjustment range is not published, so ask us to confirm it from the datasheet.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Yes - gauges are optional on GFR units. Variants are available with an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scales. This configuration is supplied without a gauge fitted, so order a gauge-coded variant if you need one.
