The AirTAC GFR400C15MF1T AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/2 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MF1T is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: a single body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure. This configuration is a size 400 unit with a 1/2 in NPT port, a manual drain on the metal bowl, a 40 um standard filter element, and the embedded square gauge scaled in MPa. The standard regulator covers 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the unit operates at -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options include a 5 um element (code W), automatic or differential-pressure drain, G (BSPP) or NPT thread, gauge scales in psi or bar, an external round gauge, and a reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air to the tool-changer, workpiece clamps and pneumatic actuators on a CNC machining cell, with the manual drain emptied at scheduled shift checks.
Stable regulated pressure for carton-sealer and case-packer cylinders on a packaging conveyor line, with water and pipe scale knocked out ahead of the directional valves.
A branch take-off from a factory air ring main feeding downstream equipment, dropping main-header pressure to the lower working pressure the branch circuit needs.
Choose the size and port step (200/300/400/600, 1/8 in to 1 in) against the flow your line needs - we confirm exact flow from the datasheet curves on request before you order. Drain type is a real choice here: manual (this unit, and it widens the regulation range to 0.05-0.9 MPa / 7-130 psi), automatic, or the differential-pressure default. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um (code W) for finer particulate. Gauge choices are the embedded square gauge (MPa standard, psi or bar scales available) or an external round gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; a mounting bracket is included with this unit.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request.
This unit has a manual drain: the bowl is emptied by hand at service intervals, and the manual-drain regulation range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Automatic and differential-pressure drain versions are available in the same series if you prefer not to drain by hand.
