The AirTAC GFR400C15MJC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/2 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MJC2T is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation combined in a single body. This configuration is a size 400 unit with a 1/2 in NPT port, a manual drain, the standard 40 um filter element, and a round pressure gauge with a psi scale fitted. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The bowl for this size is polycarbonate (PC), and the unit is supplied without a mounting bracket and without a reverse/check valve.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and with options including automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um filter element (code W), gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard, and a mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, regulated air to the valve manifold and clamping cylinders on a stamping press line, with the manual drain emptied as part of routine shift checks.
Conditioning the supply to the stopper, lift and pusher cylinders on a bottling or carton conveyor, so the actuators receive clean air held at a set pressure.
Supplying regulated air to the clamps and tool-change cylinders on a machining centre, where the 40 um element helps keep water and particles out of the valves.
Choose the size and port step (200 through 600, 1/8 in to 1 in) against the air consumption of the downstream circuit; the 400 size with a 1/2 in NPT port suits heavier-demand lines, but sizing should be checked against the flow curves rather than a single rating. Pick the drain: manual (this unit, which carries the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa regulation range), automatic for unattended condensate removal, or the differential-pressure default. The filter element is 40 um as standard; specify code W for 5 um where finer particulate protection is needed. Gauge scale can be MPa, psi or bar; this unit carries a round psi gauge. Thread is PT as the standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and a bracket can be added where panel or wall fixing is required. Ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
Flow for the GFR400 series is published as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your downstream air consumption and working pressure and we will confirm the datasheet flow curves and sizing for this 1/2 in NPT unit on request.
This unit has a manual drain, which also carries the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) regulation range; the automatic and differential-pressure drain versions have a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) range. Choose manual where the bowl is drained as part of routine checks, or automatic where the unit runs unattended.
