The AirTAC GFR400C15MJF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2, Bar Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MJF3T is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation combined in one body, sized for a 1/2 in NPT port. This configuration carries the standard 40 um filter element, a manual drain on the bowl, and a square pressure gauge reading in bar. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the size 400 bowl is polycarbonate (PC). No mounting bracket is included with this variant.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of PT, G or NPT thread, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (code W) element option, and gauge scale choices. Flow figures for this series are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, regulated air to a workshop pneumatic press or clamping fixture, with the 40 um element protecting directional valves and cylinders and the bar gauge giving the operator a direct setting reference.
Conditioning the air supply on a packaging or cartoning conveyor line, where clean, moisture-reduced air at a stable set pressure keeps stopper cylinders and diverters running consistently through the shift.
Serving as the single filter-regulator station on a CNC machine tool or assembly cell air drop, combining water and particulate removal with settable downstream pressure for tool-change and clamping circuits.
Step through the decodable choices before ordering. Pick the size and port against the air demand of the circuit: this unit is size 400 with a 1/2 in NPT port, and larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow. Choose the drain: manual (this unit, which also widens the regulation range to 0.05-0.9 MPa / 7-130 psi), automatic, or the differential-pressure default. Choose the element: 40 um standard or 5 um (code W) for finer protection. Choose the gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar - this unit reads bar) and whether to add an external round gauge. Thread is PT as standard; G and NPT are order options, and this unit is specified NPT. A bracket can be included or omitted (omitted here). Because flow is published as curves, not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain, so condensed water is released by operating the drain by hand rather than automatically. On filter regulators with a manual drain, the regulation range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi); automatic and differential-pressure drain versions are set between 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
