The AirTAC GFR400C15MJNWT AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/2 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MJNWT is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in a single body. It removes water and particulate from compressed air down to 5 um (the fine W grade, versus the standard 40 um element) and holds downstream pressure anywhere in the 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) adjustment range. This configuration has a 1/2 in NPT port, a manual-drain bowl in polycarbonate, no gauge fitted, no mounting bracket, and the standard (not low-pressure) regulator type. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with PT (standard), G and NPT thread options, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um filter grades, and gauge or no-gauge variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, regulated air to the valve stack and cylinder circuit of a metal-fabrication stamping press, where the 5 um element protects directional valves from fine particulate and the regulator sets the press working pressure.
Conditioning the air supply to carton-sealing and bagging machines, where consistent regulated pressure keeps sealing jaws and clamp cylinders repeating the same cycle and the manual drain is emptied during scheduled line cleaning.
Supplying the air circuit of a robotic handling cell with grippers and small cylinders, where clean 5 um air and a stable set pressure prevent erratic grip force and the 1/2 in port serves the cell's main drop.
Size 400 with a 1/2 in port sits in the upper half of the GFR range; step up to size 600 or down to 300 depending on the flow your line needs. The 5 um element (code W) is the right choice when downstream valves, cylinders or instruments are sensitive to fine particulate; the standard grade is 40 um. This unit has a manual drain, which suits installations where an operator drains the bowl as part of a routine; choose automatic or differential-pressure drain variants where the unit is inaccessible. Thread here is NPT; PT is the catalogue standard and G (BSPP) is also orderable. No gauge is fitted (code N) and no bracket (code J); other variants include an embedded square gauge or external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales, and a bracket. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and full datasheet figures for the GFR400 size at your operating conditions on request.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the bowl is released by operating the drain by hand, which suits stations checked during routine maintenance. The GFR400 series is also orderable with automatic drain (code A) or differential-pressure drain (blank) if you prefer not to rely on manual draining.
