The AirTAC GFR400C15MLC2GK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MLC2GK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This configuration is the size-400 unit with a G1/2 (BSPP) port, a metal bowl with manual drain, the standard 40 um filter element, and the low-pressure regulator type. It comes with a round pressure gauge on a psi scale, a reverse (check) valve fitted, and a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, and options including automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and PT, G or NPT threads. AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm flow and other datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the 1/2" air feed to clamp and hold-down cylinders on a packaging line, where the low-pressure regulator type keeps actuator pressure gentle on product and tooling and the psi gauge gives operators a readable setpoint.
Supplying filtered, low regulated air to pneumatic clamps on a CNC machining fixture, with the fitted check valve blocking backflow from the downstream side and the manual-drain metal bowl emptied as part of routine changeover.
Conditioning shop air for a laboratory or test bench that needs clean air held at a low, stable regulated pressure for instruments and small actuators, with the round psi gauge making the setting easy to verify during test runs.
Sizing starts with the port step: size 400 with a G1/2 port sits in the upper-middle of the GFR range, and the right size depends on the flow your line needs. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to check the curve against your application before ordering. The real, decodable choices on this family are: drain type (manual as on this unit, or automatic code A, or differential-pressure as the default), filter element (40 um standard, 5 um with code W), gauge and scale (embedded square gauge standard, external round gauge optional, in MPa, psi or bar), thread (PT is the standard; G and NPT are order options), and bracket (included here; code J deletes it). This unit is the low-pressure regulator type; its specific adjustment range is not published in the standard table, so we confirm it on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so no single flow number is quoted for this unit. Send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request.
The M in the code selects the manual drain: condensate collected in the metal bowl is drained by hand as part of routine maintenance. The GFR family also offers an automatic drain (code A) and a differential-pressure drain (the default, no code) if you want condensate handled without manual attention.
