The AirTAC GFR400C15MLF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MLF3T is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body, sized for 1/2 in (NPT1/2) piping. This configuration is the low-pressure (L) type with a manual drain (M), the standard 40 um filter element, a metal bowl, an embedded square gauge scaled in bar, and a mounting bracket included. The manual drain means the accumulated condensate is emptied from the bowl by hand, so it suits positions that are attended during normal maintenance rounds.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of PT, G or NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, a 40 um standard or 5 um (W) filter element, standard or low-pressure regulation, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and bracket options. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, regulated air to clamp and hold-down cylinders on a milling or drilling fixture where the workpiece needs a reduced, controlled holding pressure rather than full line pressure.
Supplies clean, regulated air to the low-pressure actuation circuits of a packaging conveyor - flap closers, pushers and sealing bars - with the manual drain emptied at each scheduled changeover.
Drops filtered, pressure-controlled air from a 1/2 in main to an assembly cell driving air tools and small actuators, with the square bar gauge giving operators a local pressure readout at the cell.
Start with the port step: this unit is the 400 size with a 1/2 in NPT thread, one step above the 300 series, so step up to it when your line is plumbed at 1/2 in or your air demand outgrows a 3/8 in unit. Choose the drain to match attendance: manual (as here) for supervised positions, automatic where the unit runs unattended, or the differential-pressure default. Pick the filter grade for the downstream need: 40 um standard for general actuation, 5 um (code W) where finer protection matters. The low-pressure (L) type is the right choice when the circuit runs at reduced pressure; its exact adjustment range is not published, so confirm it with us before ordering. Gauge scale (bar here; MPa or psi also available) and thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) complete the decode.
Because flow is published only as curves and not as a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet and check the sizing with you on request.
The M in the code selects a manual drain: condensate collected in the bowl is emptied by hand, which suits positions visited during routine maintenance; automatic and differential-pressure drains are the alternatives in the same family. The L in the code selects the low-pressure regulator type, intended for circuits running at reduced pressure; its exact adjustment range is not published, so confirm it with us before ordering.
