The AirTAC GFR400C15MLJC1T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MLJC1T is an AirTAC GFR filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in one body. This size 400 unit is threaded NPT1/2 (1/2 in), carries the 40 um standard filter element and a metal bowl with a manual drain, and is built as the low-pressure type regulator. It comes fitted with a round pressure gauge reading in MPa and is supplied without a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is made in four sizes (200, 300, 400 and 600) covering ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, with choices of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge style and scale, G/NPT thread options and bracket mounting. AirTAC publishes flow for these units as performance curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm flow and other datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating shop air feeding a clamping circuit on a machine-tool fixture, where water and scale must be removed before the air reaches the clamp cylinders and the set pressure must hold parts steadily.
Conditioning compressed air for cylinders and grippers on a packaging line, catching condensate and pipe scale upstream of the valves while holding a stable supply pressure for the pick-and-place motions.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to diverter and stopper cylinders on a conveyor line, with the manual drain opened at maintenance intervals to clear accumulated condensate from the bowl.
Size and port step up together: 200, 300, 400 and 600 cover 1/8 in through 1 in, so choose the size whose flow curve covers your line - we will check that against the datasheet on request. The real choices on this unit are: manual drain (open it at maintenance intervals) versus automatic or differential-pressure drains; the 40 um standard element versus the 5 um (W) element for finer protection downstream; gauge style - embedded square as standard, external round as fitted here - with MPa, psi or bar scales; and thread, where PT is the standard and G (BSPP) and NPT are order options. Brackets are optional. This is the low-pressure regulator type; its exact adjustment range is not published, so confirm the set-pressure window with us before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for GFR filter regulators as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Send us your line pressure and the flow your application needs, and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
This configuration is ordered with a manual drain: condensate collected in the bowl is released by opening the drain at maintenance intervals. AirTAC also offers automatic and differential-pressure drains across the GFR family as order options if you prefer drainage without manual attention.
