The AirTAC GFR400C15MLJC2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MLJC2WGK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in a single body, so one unit strips water and particulate from compressed air and holds a reduced, set downstream pressure. This configuration is built around G1/2 (BSPP) ports, the 5 um filter element (the W grade, finer than the 40 um standard), a manual drain, the low-pressure regulator type, a round pressure gauge reading in psi, and a fitted reverse/check valve. No mounting bracket is included with the J code. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the bowl on this unit is metal.
It is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and each size can be ordered with a different drain type (manual, automatic or differential-pressure), a 40 um or 5 um element, the embedded square gauge or an external round gauge scaled in MPa, psi or bar, PT, G or NPT threads, and with or without a bracket. AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm flow and other datasheet figures on request - just ask before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Give pneumatic clamps and hold-downs on an assembly fixture a steady, reduced supply pressure. The 5 um element keeps fine control valves upstream clean, and the fitted check valve blocks backflow through the unit.
Feed atomising air to spray guns on a paint or coating line where a low, stable set point matters. The regulator holds the gun supply while the 5 um element strips water and particulate ahead of it.
Supply diverters, pushers and gating cylinders on a packaging conveyor from a G1/2 drop line, with the psi-scaled round gauge making set-point checks quick at the machine.
Work through the choices the code actually carries. Size 400 with G1/2 ports sits in the middle of the GFR range (200/300/400/600); step up or down a size when your air demand needs a different port, and let us check the published flow curves against your consumption before you commit, since AirTAC does not publish a single rated flow. The 5 um W element suits downstream valves, cylinders or tools that are sensitive to fine dirt and free water; the 40 um standard element is the economical choice for general supply. The M code means manual draining - fine where an operator passes the unit routinely, otherwise consider the automatic-drain variant of the same size. This is the low-pressure L regulator type, intended where the required set point falls below what the standard version covers; the exact numeric adjustment range is not published on the sheet we work from, so give us your target pressure to confirm it. The round gauge here reads in psi; MPa and bar scales and the embedded square gauge are alternatives. Thread is G (BSPP); PT is the standard thread for the series and NPT is also an order option. This J-coded unit is supplied without a bracket - choose the bracket variant if you panel- or wall-mount.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 size as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Send us your inlet pressure, set pressure and expected air demand and we will confirm suitability against the datasheet curves before you order.
This configuration carries the M drain code, so collected condensate is released by opening the drain by hand rather than automatically. It suits installations where someone is at the unit regularly; if the unit sits in a hard-to-reach spot, ask us about the automatic-drain variant of the same GFR400 size.
