The AirTAC GFR400C15MLJF2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MLJF2T is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This size 400 unit has a 1/2 in NPT port, a manual drain on the bowl, the standard 40 um filter element, and the low-pressure regulator type. It includes the embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and comes without a mounting bracket and without a reverse (check) valve. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The bowl on this size is polycarbonate; only the 600 size uses an aluminium alloy bowl.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and with a choice of drain type, filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um optional), gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar), thread (PT standard; G and NPT to order) and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the air feeding clamp and hold-down cylinders on a packaging line, where a low-pressure setting keeps delicate product handling consistent and the psi gauge gives operators a familiar readout.
Supplying clean, regulated air to diverter and stopper gates on a bottling conveyor, with the manual drain opened during scheduled changeover to clear accumulated condensate.
Conditioning supply air on a laboratory or QC test rig, where a stable low regulated pressure, 40 um filtration and a square psi gauge suit instruments, fixtures and sensitive actuators.
Size and port are the first choice: 200, 300, 400 and 600 step up in port and flow capacity, so match the size to the air demand of the circuit - we can check the published flow curves against your consumption if you send the figures. Drain type is a real decision: this model has a manual drain that you open by hand during routine checks, while automatic and differential-pressure drains are available in the family where the bowl cannot be drained routinely. Filter grade is 40 um as standard here, with a 5 um element (code W) where finer filtration is needed. The embedded square gauge on this unit reads in psi; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are options. Thread is NPT on this model; PT is the standard thread and G (BSPP) is also a catalogue option. A mounting bracket can be added where this no-bracket configuration needs support. The low-pressure regulator type is chosen for circuits that run at reduced settings; the exact adjustment range for this type is not published as a single figure, so ask us to confirm it against your set point before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Send us your air demand and line pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet before you order.
This model has a manual drain: condensate collects in the polycarbonate bowl and you open the drain by hand as part of routine checks. It suits installations that are visited regularly; if the unit sits in an inaccessible spot, ask about automatic or differential-pressure drain versions of the same size.
