The AirTAC GFR600-20 AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/4 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20 is a size 600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration carries a 3/4 in NPT port, a 40 um standard filter element, a manual drain bowl, a fitted round gauge with psi scale, and a reverse/check valve. The maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). At size 600 the bowl is aluminium alloy.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, a 5 um (code W) filter element where finer filtration is needed, gauge and scale choices, and an optional bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the 3/4 in drop feeding a carton-forming and shrink-wrap line, the GFR600-20 cleans water and scale out of the plant air and holds a steady regulated pressure to the line's valves and actuators, with the psi gauge giving operators a visible setpoint.
Mounted ahead of the cylinder bank that lifts and diverts product on a warehouse conveyor, the unit filters the incoming air and regulates it to the pressure the cylinders were sized for, while the check valve holds the downstream setting if supply pressure dips.
Fitted on the 3/4 in supply to a machining cell's tool-clamp and chip-blow-off circuit, the GFR600-20 strips condensate and particles before the machine's valves and regulates the clamp pressure, with manual drain as part of the operator's routine checks.
Start with size and port: the GFR family steps through sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, and this unit is the size 600 with a 3/4 in NPT port, the largest step in the range, so match it to the pipe size and the air demand of the line it feeds. Choose the drain type to suit access: manual drain (as here) needs someone to open it periodically, automatic drains themselves, and the differential-pressure default drains on a pressure drop. Choose the filter grade: 40 um is the standard element, 5 um (code W) is the finer option. Gauge scale is selectable as MPa, psi or bar, and this unit carries a round psi gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT order options, and a bracket is optional (this configuration is without one).
One honest note before ordering: flow is published as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we cannot quote a rated flow number. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing and datasheet figures on request before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR family as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures on request so you can size the unit before ordering.
The drain removes the water collected in the bowl. This configuration is manual: someone opens the drain periodically to empty it, which suits installations that are checked routinely. If the unit will sit where regular draining is impractical, choose the automatic drain option (code A) or the differential-pressure default instead - all three are available in the same size and port.
