The AirTAC GFR600-20 AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/4 in PT, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single 3/4 in PT-port body. This configuration is the size 600 unit with a manual drain, the standard 40 um filter element, an embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and a reverse (check) valve fitted, so regulated pressure is held if the upstream supply drops. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulation range for this manual-drain version is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). At size 600 the bowl is aluminium alloy.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, a 5 um (code W) or standard 40 um element, gauge scale options, G or NPT thread variants, and bracket options. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the shop-air feed to fixture clamps and tool-change cylinders on a machining centre, with the psi gauge giving the setter a direct readout at the machine.
Conditioning the air branch that runs diverters, pushers and stop cylinders on a packaging or bottling conveyor line, with the check valve holding set pressure if the main supply dips.
Serving as the point-of-use filter regulator on a 3/4 in air drop in a factory bay, draining condensate manually at the start of each shift and protecting the tools and valves downstream.
Size 600 with a 3/4 in PT port is the large-flow step of the GFR range; step up or down through sizes 200/300/400/600 to match the pipe and the air demand of the circuit, and we will confirm the flow curve against your requirement before you order. Choose the drain to suit access: manual (this unit) suits attended installations where someone opens the drain regularly, automatic suits unattended drops, and differential-pressure drain is the default. The 40 um element is standard; specify code W for 5 um where finer particulate removal matters. The embedded square gauge here reads in psi, with MPa or bar scales and an external round gauge available as options. PT is the standard thread; G (BSPP) and NPT are order options. A mounting bracket is not included with the J code on this unit.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number on the page. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand, and we will confirm the datasheet flow curve for this 3/4 in size 600 unit against your application on request.
The M in GFR60020MJF2K specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the aluminium bowl is released by operating the drain by hand, which suits installations that are checked regularly. If the unit will sit unattended, the same GFR600 size is available with an automatic drain (code A) or the differential-pressure drain default - ask us for that variant.
