The AirTAC GFR600-20 AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT 3/4 in, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600C20MJC3WTK is a size-600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration is built around a 3/4 in NPT port, a fine 5 um filter element (the standard element is 40 um; the W code selects 5 um), a manual drain on the bowl, and a fitted reverse/check valve that holds downstream pressure when the upstream supply is lost. The external round gauge is fitted with a bar scale, and the regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with manual drain. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). At size 600 the bowl is aluminium alloy.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT as order options), bracket and check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for this exact model on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted ahead of a pneumatic press or clamping station, this unit cleans the shop air to 5 um and holds the working pressure the tooling was set up for, with the check valve holding the circuit if the supply drops.
On a packaging line's 3/4 in air main, the filter regulator gives one clean, regulated feed point for the machine's cylinders and valves, with the round bar gauge giving operators a visible setpoint.
For lab equipment and test rigs that need drier, cleaner air than the general shop supply, the 5 um element and stable regulation protect sensitive instruments on the bench.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200/300/400/600) against the port and the flow your line needs; this unit sits at the top of the range with a 3/4 in NPT port. Choose the drain to match the installation: manual drain (this model) suits positions an operator visits routinely, while automatic or differential-pressure drains suit less accessible points. Choose the 5 um element (W code, as here) where downstream equipment needs finer filtration than the 40 um standard. Gauge style and scale (embedded square, or external round in MPa, psi or bar - this model is round, bar), thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) and bracket are all decodable choices; this model has no bracket and includes the reverse/check valve (K).
One honest note before you order: AirTAC publishes filter-regulator flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves before you commit.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number here. Send us your application - port size, downstream demand and working pressure - and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M code selects a manual drain: an operator opens the drain on the aluminium alloy bowl to expel collected water, which suits positions visited during routine rounds (automatic and differential-pressure drains are available on other GFR variants). The K code fits a reverse/check valve, which holds downstream pressure if the upstream supply is interrupted. Note the manual-drain regulation range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the 5 um element is the fine option over the 40 um standard.
