The AirTAC GFR600-20 AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT3/4, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure in a single 600-size body. This configuration is threaded NPT3/4 (3/4 in), carries the fine 5 um filter element instead of the standard 40 um, drains condensate by differential pressure, and has a built-in reverse (check) valve so downstream pressure is held if the supply drops. It is supplied without a pressure gauge and without a mounting bracket. The regulation range for this differential-pressure-drain version is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), with maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and a working temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). Because this is the 600 size, the bowl is aluminium alloy.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge options, PT, G or NPT threads, and standard or low-pressure regulators. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed on a 3/4 in branch feeding a production hall, the GFR600-20 strips water and particles to 5 um and holds a steady regulated pressure for the tools and actuators on that line.
On a process skid where pneumatic quarter-turn actuators open and close valves all shift long, the unit gives each actuator clean, finely filtered air at a set pressure, and the check valve holds the actuator supply if the main drops.
When refurbishing a machine tool or packaging line with 3/4 in NPT air connections, the GFR600-20 drops into the existing supply as a combined filter and regulator, replacing two separate components in one body.
Size and port set the capacity envelope: the 600 size with its 3/4 in NPT port suits lines with substantial air demand, while smaller GFR sizes cover lighter duties - match the size step to the flow your circuit needs. Choose the drain to suit attendance: differential pressure (this unit) drains automatically as the bowl pressure differential builds, automatic drains on a timer-like cycle, and manual suits periodically attended installations. Pick the 5 um element (this unit) where downstream valves and instruments need finer air than the standard 40 um. Decide whether you want a gauge fitted and, if so, which scale; this unit ships without one. PT is the standard thread, with G and NPT as catalogue options - this unit is ordered in NPT. Brackets are optional on GFR; this configuration is without a bracket. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one rated flow number we can quote. Tell us your application and we will confirm the datasheet and flow-curve figures for the GFR600-20 on request so you can size it correctly.
The code GFR60020JNWTK specifies the N gauge option, so no pressure gauge is fitted. Gauge options (round or square, in MPa, psi or bar scales) are available on GFR units as a decode choice, so if you want downstream pressure visible at the regulator, order a variant with the gauge code instead.
