The AirTAC GFR600-20 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/4 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20 is a size-600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration has a 3/4 in NPT port, an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention, a 40 um standard filter element, and a low-pressure regulator type for circuits that run below standard supply pressures. The embedded square gauge reads in MPa, the bowl is aluminium alloy at this size, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um optional element, psi or bar gauge scales, and G or NPT thread options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds clamp cylinders on a production press line, filtering supply air and holding the lower working pressure the clamping circuit is set to run at.
Conditions the air feeding diverters, stoppers and pusher cylinders along a packaging conveyor, with automatic drain keeping condensate out of the valves.
Provides filtered, regulated air to a bench test rig or pilot plant skid where the process calls for pressures below standard supply levels.
Size and port set the capacity envelope: the 600 body with a 3/4 in port suits higher-flow branch lines, while smaller sizes step down to 1/8 in. Choose the drain to match maintenance reality - automatic (as here) for unattended duty, manual where controlled blowdown is preferred, or the differential-pressure default. The 40 um element is standard; specify code W for 5 um where finer particulate removal matters. The square MPa gauge is fitted here; psi or bar scales and an external round gauge are alternatives. Thread is NPT on this unit, with G (BSPP) and PT as order options, and the bracket is included.
Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your line pressure and demand and we will confirm the datasheet curve figures for your application on request.
The automatic drain ejects collected condensate on its own, which suits unattended or hard-to-reach installations. The GFR series is also ordered with manual or differential-pressure drains, and the 5 um (code W) element, psi or bar gauge scales, and G or NPT threads are order options.
