The AirTAC GFR600-20 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/4 Square Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20 is a size-600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration carries a 3/4 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure drop across the element rises, and an embedded square gauge scaled in MPa so the set pressure is visible at a glance. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulation range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). At size 600 the bowl is aluminium alloy.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options include a 5 um element (code W), manual or automatic drain, alternative gauge scales in psi or bar, a reverse/check valve, and G or NPT threads in place of the PT standard. We confirm flow and datasheet figures on request - flow is published as curves rather than a single rating.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered and regulated air feeds the machine's pneumatic clamps, tool-change cylinders and air blasts, with the square gauge letting the setter verify the supply pressure at the drop.
A clean, steady pressure supply to sealing jaws, vacuum generators and diverting cylinders keeps the line's actuators working to the pressure the machine was set up for.
Installed ahead of a manifold serving pick-and-place cylinders and air-driven presses, the unit conditions the cell supply and holds the working pressure the controls expect.
Size 600 with a 3/4 in port is the largest GFR step, so size it when the line's required flow sits beyond what a 1/2 in unit can carry; step down to GFR400-15 or GFR300-10 for smaller branches. The differential-pressure drain on this model suits a supply that runs steadily, since condensate is expelled as the element loads; choose the automatic drain variant for intermittent duty or the manual drain variant where an operator drains the bowl on a schedule. The 40 um element is the standard grade for general plant air; specify the W variant for 5 um when downstream equipment needs finer filtration. The fitted square gauge reads in MPa; psi and bar scales are order options, as are G or NPT threads in place of PT and a mounting bracket. Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and required consumption and we will confirm the flow and the correct sizing from the datasheet on request.
The blank drain code on this unit is the differential-pressure type: condensate is discharged automatically whenever the pressure drop across the 40 um element rises, with no operator input. If your air use is intermittent or you prefer scheduled draining, the GFR600 is also catalogued with an automatic drain (code A) or a manual drain (code M) - ask us for those variants.
