The AirTAC GFR600-20 AirTAC Filter Regulator, PT3/4, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20 is a size-600 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in one body. This configuration carries a PT3/4 port with PT thread, 40 um standard filtration, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds condensate automatically as flow passes through, and an external round gauge reading in psi. A reverse/check valve is fitted, and the unit is supplied without a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator adjusts from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR600 series, the largest size step in the GFR line, with an aluminium alloy bowl suited to the 600 frame. Smaller sizes, alternative drains, 5 um filtration (code W), different gauge scales, G or NPT thread and bracket options are available across the range. Rated flow is published as curves rather than a single figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, regulated air to a 3/4 in supply main serving pneumatic presses and clamping fixtures, with the psi gauge letting operators set and verify working pressure at the cell.
Installed at the air drop ahead of case packers and wrapping machines, removing water and pipe scale from the plant supply while holding a stable setpoint for the machine's air cylinders.
Placed on the supply to conveyor diverters, gate actuators and blow-off stations, where the reverse/check valve holds the circuit and the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate moving out during continuous running.
Start with the port step: this GFR600-20 is the 3/4 in PT connection in the size-600 frame, the largest GFR size, so step down to GFR300 or GFR400 if your line uses smaller ports. The differential-pressure drain is the default and suits continuous-flow duty; choose automatic drain (code A) for unattended operation or manual drain (code M) where you want controlled bleeding. Filtration is 40 um standard - select 5 um (code W) only where downstream components need finer protection. The fitted round gauge reads in psi; MPa and bar scales are also available. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and this unit ships without a bracket. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow performance as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the relevant flow and datasheet figures on request before you order.
C indicates an external round gauge fitted, and 2 sets its scale to psi (MPa and bar scales are also available). K means a reverse/check valve is fitted. The unit also carries the J code, so it is supplied without a mounting bracket.
