The AirTAC GFR600-20 AirTAC Filter Regulator, PT3/4, Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body, so one PT3/4 connection does both jobs. This configuration carries the standard 40 um filter element and an automatic drain, which bleeds collected condensate from the bowl without anyone opening it - useful on lines that run unattended. Because this is a size 600 unit, the bowl is aluminium alloy. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the embedded square gauge is fitted with a psi scale. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. No mounting bracket is included and no reverse/check valve is fitted.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and options include a 5 um filter element (code W), manual or differential-pressure drain, gauge scale in MPa, psi or bar, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, and a mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, pressure-set air to a pneumatic press or clamping station, where the automatic drain keeps condensate out of cylinders between shifts without operator attention.
Conditioning the air feeding a bank of directional control valves on a machine's valve manifold, with the psi gauge giving operators a local reading of set pressure.
Supplying clean, regulated air to conveyor diverters, sealers and packaging actuators on a production line, where the 40 um element protects valves from water and particulate carryover.
Start with the port step: this unit is size 600 with a PT3/4 port, the largest in the GFR range, so step down to a 200/300/400 unit if your line runs at lower air demand. Choose the drain to match how the unit is attended: automatic (this unit) for unattended or hard-to-reach installations, manual where an operator drains routinely, or the differential-pressure default. Filter grade is 40 um as standard; specify the W option for 5 um if downstream equipment needs finer filtration. The fitted square gauge reads in psi on this unit; MPa or bar scales are available, and an external round gauge is optional. Thread is PT as standard - order G (BSPP) or NPT if your piping uses those standards. A mounting bracket can be added; this unit ships without one. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet and check the sizing against your demand before you order.
This configuration carries code A, the automatic drain, which discharges collected condensate from the bowl on its own - the right choice for unattended lines or units mounted where access is difficult. Manual drain (code M) is the economical choice where an operator can bleed the bowl routinely, and the differential-pressure drain is the catalogue default. All three are orderable options on the GFR family.
