The AirTAC GFR600-20 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT3/4 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body, so one 3/4 in unit does both jobs on the supply line. This configuration is the size 600 low-pressure type with a 5 um filter element (code W), an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without anyone opening the bowl, an aluminium alloy bowl, an embedded square gauge reading in psi, a reverse (check) valve fitted per the K code, and a mounting bracket included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um standard or 5 um filtration, gauge and thread options, and standard or low-pressure regulator types. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Hung on the 3/4 in branch feeding a packaging hall, it cleans the supply and holds a set pressure for case sealers and wrap stations, with the automatic drain clearing condensate on a line that runs unattended.
Mounted at the take-off feeding conveyor gate cylinders and diverter actuators, it keeps water and 5 um-fine particles out of the valves while the low-pressure regulator holds the gentle setting those actuators need.
On the supply line to a test bench or lab rig, the 5 um element and psi-scaled square gauge give a clean, readable air supply, and the check valve helps hold the set condition on the bench side.
Size and port set the capacity: this is the largest GFR frame, size 600 with a 3/4 in PT port, chosen when the line's air demand points to the top of the range. Drain type is a real decision: automatic (this unit) suits points that run unattended; manual drain needs an operator; differential-pressure drain is the catalogue default. Filtration is 5 um here (code W) against the 40 um standard - pick 5 um where downstream valves and instruments want cleaner air. The gauge is the embedded square type on a psi scale; MPa or bar scales and an external round gauge are alternatives. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available to order, and the bracket is included.
One honest note before you order: AirTAC publishes flow as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing and the low-pressure adjustment range from the datasheet before you commit.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your working pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet curves for this exact configuration on request.
The A in the code GFR60020ALF2WK specifies an automatic drain, which expels collected condensate from the bowl without manual attention - useful on unattended lines. The GFR family is also available with a manual drain or the differential-pressure drain as the default, and the same choice applies across sizes 200 to 600.
