The AirTAC GFR600-20 AirTAC Filter Regulator, PT3/4, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20 is a size-600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration is the low-pressure type, fitted with a 5 um filter element (the tighter of the two published grades), a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically when the pressure differential across the element rises, an external round gauge scaled in psi, and a reverse/check valve that holds downstream pressure when the supply is lost. The 3/4 in PT port suits larger supply lines, and the aluminium alloy bowl reflects the heavier-duty construction of the 600 size.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR line runs from size 200 to 600 with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of 40 um standard or 5 um fine filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, embedded square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and G or NPT threads as order options. Flow for this unit is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures against your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, regulated air to the cylinder and actuator cluster on a carton-forming and sealing line, where the 3/4 in supply port serves several drop legs from one preparation point.
Conditioning the air ahead of a workholding or clinching press circuit, where the check valve holds set pressure on the clamped part if the shop air dips mid-cycle.
Supplying the gate and diverter cylinders along a conveyor run, with the 5 um element protecting the directional valves that cycle the gates all shift long.
Size 600 with a 3/4 in PT port sits at the top of the GFR range, so start by matching the port step to the supply line and the flow your line needs - we can confirm the flow curves from the datasheet before you order. The 5 um element (code W) is the right choice where downstream valves and instruments tolerate less particulate than the 40 um standard grade; note it is a tighter element, so discuss drain behaviour with us for wet air. The differential-pressure drain on this unit needs no manual attention but relies on a pressure differential to purge, so for very low, steady flow a manual-drain variant may suit better. The round psi gauge is the external style; embedded square gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales are also available across the range. PT is the standard thread; G (BSPP) and NPT are order options. A mounting bracket is included with this unit.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and expected air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves before you order.
The L in the code marks the low-pressure regulator type, intended for lower set pressures than the standard version; the exact adjustment range for this type is not published in the sheet we work from, so ask us to confirm it for your setpoint. The C2 in the code means this unit carries an external round gauge scaled in psi, which suits US-market panels read in psi rather than MPa or bar.
