The AirTAC GFR600-20 Low-Pressure AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20 is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure. This size-600 configuration has a 3/4 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (code W), a manual drain on the aluminium alloy bowl, a low-pressure regulator type, a round gauge reading in bar, and a reverse (check) valve fitted. No mounting bracket is included (code J). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options across drain type (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), 40 um standard or 5 um fine filtration, embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, PT standard thread with G (BSPP) and NPT orderable, and bracket choice. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your line before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a carton-forming and sealing line, this unit conditions the air feeding the clamp and pusher cylinders: water and fine particulate are stripped out and the downstream pressure is held steady so each stroke sequence repeats cleanly through the shift.
Feeding pneumatic positioners and actuated control valves on a low-pressure process skid, the unit filters mill fines and pipe scale down to 5 um and regulates supply pressure, while the check valve holds the set-up if upstream air dips.
On a distribution conveyor with air-operated divertors and stop gates, this unit gives a single conditioned take-off point: clean, regulated air to the gate cylinders, with the bar-scale gauge giving operators a visible line check.
Size and port set the capacity step: this unit is size 600 with a 3/4 in NPT port, the largest step in the GFR range. The 5 um element (code W) suits air that needs finer particulate removal than the 40 um standard. Manual drain means the bowl is emptied by hand on a routine; automatic and differential-pressure drains are available on other variants if you want unattended drainage. The round gauge reads in bar; an embedded square gauge with MPa or psi scale is an alternative. Thread here is NPT; PT is the standard and G (BSPP) is orderable. No mounting bracket is supplied (code J). Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure - ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the relevant flow and datasheet figures on request before you order.
The L in GFR60020MLJC3WTK marks the low-pressure regulator type rather than the standard one. The exact adjustment range for the low-pressure type is not published in our sheet, so confirm the set range you need with us on request. Everything else decodes normally: manual drain (M), no bracket (J), round gauge with bar scale (C3), 5 um element (W), NPT thread (T) and a fitted reverse/check valve (K).
