The AirTAC GFR600-20G AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/4in G-Thread 5um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20MC2WG is a size-600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is built on 3/4 in ports with G (BSPP) thread, carries a 5 um filter element for finer filtration than the standard 40 um grade, and uses a manual drain that you open by hand to expel collected condensate. A round external gauge on a psi scale is fitted so the set pressure can be read directly, and the standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). At size 600 the bowl is aluminium alloy.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and can be ordered with a choice of drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT as options), bracket and reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the take-off point of a factory compressed-air ring main, the 3/4 in G-thread connections suit branch lines feeding a production hall, cleaning the air and holding a steady set pressure for the whole downstream section.
On a packaging or bottling line with cylinders, air chucks and stopper gates running off a 3/4 in header, this unit filters the supply to 5 um and lets maintenance set one stable working pressure for all the actuators on that drop.
At a multi-station assembly bench supplied from a larger header, the psi round gauge and 0.05-0.9 MPa adjustment let a technician dial in the exact pressure each tool circuit needs, while the manual drain is emptied during scheduled checks.
Start with the port and size step: this unit is size 600 on 3/4 in G-thread ports, the largest step in the GFR range, so match it to your line size and let us confirm the flow curve against your demand before ordering. Choose the drain to suit access: manual (this unit) needs someone to open the drain by hand, while automatic and differential-pressure drains discharge condensate without attention. Filter grade is 5 um here (code W) versus the 40 um standard - pick 5 um where downstream equipment needs finer air. The fitted round gauge reads in psi; embedded square gauges and MPa or bar scales are the alternatives. Thread is G (BSPP); PT is the standard catalogue thread and NPT is also available to order. A mounting bracket is included.
One honest note on sizing: AirTAC publishes flow as curves, not a single rated number, so we do not quote a flow figure here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the datasheet figures before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this family as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number here. Tell us your line size and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet flow curve and sizing for the GFR600 at 3/4 in on request before you order.
This unit is code M - manual drain - meaning condensate collected in the aluminium alloy bowl is released by opening the drain by hand. Choose manual where the unit is accessible and checked as part of a routine; choose automatic or differential-pressure drain where the unit is hard to reach and condensate must discharge unattended. Note that with a manual drain the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
