The AirTAC GFR600-20G AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/4, 5 um, Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20G is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size-600 unit carries a G3/4 (BSPP) port, a 5 um filter element (the fine grade, in place of the 40 um standard), and an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and an embedded square gauge reading in psi is fitted so the set pressure is visible at a glance. Because this is the 600 size, the bowl is aluminium alloy. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port sizes, PT / G / NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scale, and optional reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Drops a filtered, regulated supply off the 3/4 in main feeding case sealers and stretch wrappers, with the automatic drain keeping condensate out of the header between shifts.
Supplies clean air at a fixed pressure to conveyor gate and stopper cylinders, where the 5 um element helps keep valve spools free of particulate carryover.
Regulates clamp-cylinder pressure on a CNC fixture line, with the psi square gauge letting the setter verify and hold the clamping set point.
Size and port: the 600 series is the largest GFR frame; step up or down (200/300/400/600) to match the port and flow path your line needs, with this unit giving a G3/4 connection in G (BSPP) thread - PT is the standard thread and G/NPT are order options. Drain: automatic drain suits unattended installations; manual and differential-pressure drains are available if you prefer operator-controlled or pressure-differential purging. Filtration: the 5 um element here is the finer grade - choose 40 um for general-duty air and 5 um where downstream equipment is more sensitive. The fitted square gauge reads psi; MPa and bar scales are alternatives, and an external round gauge is optional. A mounting bracket is included.
Sizing note: flow for this series is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure and the flow your application needs and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The A in the code GFR60020AF2WG specifies an automatic drain, which expels collected condensate without an operator. Manual and differential-pressure drains are catalogue options on the GFR series if you would rather control purging yourself.
