The AirTAC GFR600-20G AirTAC Filter Regulator, G3/4, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR600-20G is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at a set point in one body. This size-600 unit has a G3/4 (BSPP) port, a manual drain so an operator can drain the bowl on a schedule, the standard 40 um filter element, and the low-pressure regulator type. It is fitted with an external round gauge reading in psi and a built-in reverse (check) valve, and it ships without a mounting bracket. The bowl on this 600 size is aluminium alloy.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, drain choices (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), a 5 um element option (code W), gauge and scale options, and PT, G or NPT threads. Max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, regulated low-pressure air to the clamp cylinders on a CNC fixture, holding the clamping set point through the cycle while the 40 um element keeps debris out of the clamp valves.
Sits at the air drop feeding cylinders and diverter gates on a carton packing conveyor; the manual drain lets maintenance empty the aluminium bowl during planned changeovers.
Conditions the supply line to spray guns in a finishing booth, filtering water and particles and regulating the low working pressure the guns need, while the fitted check valve blocks backflow from the line toward the supply.
Every choice on this unit is decodable from the code. Step through the sizes (200/300/400/600) to match the port and flow path your line needs - this is the 3/4 in step, in G thread; PT is the standard thread and G or NPT are order options. Choose the drain: differential-pressure (the default), automatic (A), or manual (M) as here, where the bowl is drained by hand on a schedule. Pick the element: 40 um standard or 5 um with code W. Gauges: an embedded square gauge is standard and an external round gauge is optional, scaled in MPa, psi or bar - this unit reads psi. Note this is the low-pressure regulator type; its exact regulation range is not published in the catalogue, so ask us to confirm it against your set point. Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM for this unit. Send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
Manual drain (code M) means an operator opens the drain at the bottom of the aluminium bowl on a scheduled basis. The same GFR family is also available with differential-pressure drain (the default) or automatic drain (code A) if you would rather not rely on manual draining.
