The AirTAC GFR600-20G AirTAC Filter Regulator, G3/4, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20G is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This size-600 unit carries a G3/4 (BSPP) port, a 40 um standard filter element, and a manual drain, so condensate is released by a deliberate operator action rather than automatically. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and a round external gauge with a psi scale is fitted so the setpoint can be read directly. A reverse (check) valve is included, and the 600-size bowl is aluminium alloy. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options including automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at a 3/4 in main air drop in a factory, it filters water and scale out of the supply and holds a set pressure for pneumatic tool circuits, with the manual drain cleared during scheduled rounds.
Mounted upstream of the valve manifold on a packaging line, it conditions the air feeding cylinders and actuators, with the round psi gauge letting technicians verify the setpoint at a glance.
Used on a spray-coating line to deliver filtered, regulated air to the gun supply, where a stable setpoint matters and the check valve is fitted in line with the standard configuration.
Start with the port step: this unit is size 600 with a G3/4 port, the largest in the GFR range; step down to 200/300/400 for smaller lines. Drain type is a real choice: manual (as here) needs periodic draining by an operator, while automatic and differential-pressure drains handle condensate without that intervention. The element is the 40 um standard; specify the W option if the 5 um grade is required. Gauge choice is an embedded square gauge by default or an external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit has a round psi gauge. Thread is G (BSPP) here; PT is the standard and G/NPT are order options. A mounting bracket can be included, but this unit is specified without one (code J). Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so no rated flow number can be quoted here. Send us your line size and demand and we will confirm the relevant datasheet curve figures for this G3/4 unit on request before you order.
The M code in GFR60020MJC2GK specifies a manual drain: condensate is released by an operator at intervals, which suits supervised installations. Automatic (code A) and differential-pressure (blank) drains are available on the same family if you want drainage without that routine. Note that with a manual drain the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
