The AirTAC GFR600-20T AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/4 in NPT, Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR600-20T is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. This 600-size unit carries a 3/4 in NPT port, an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, a 40 um standard filter element, and an embedded square gauge reading in psi. A reverse/check valve is fitted, and the aluminium alloy bowl suits higher-duty installations. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port options, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (W) filter grade, alternative gauge scales, and PT or G threads available to order. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures against your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the 3/4 in branch feeding a production machine, it strips water and 40 um particulate from the main supply and holds a set downstream pressure, with the automatic drain clearing condensate between shifts.
Mounted ahead of the valve manifold on a packaging conveyor line, it conditions the air serving gripper and pusher cylinders and keeps their operating pressure steady through the shift.
Fitted on the air supply to an automated valve-actuation skid, it filters the incoming air, regulates actuator pressure to the set point shown on the psi gauge, and the check valve holds the line against backflow.
Start with the port step: 600 is the largest G-series size with a 3/4 in port, chosen when the line demands more air than 200/300/400 sizes carry; match the size to required flow, which we confirm from the published curves on request. Choose the drain: automatic (this unit) for unattended condensate removal, or manual and differential-pressure variants where preferred. Filter grade is 40 um standard; a 5 um element (code W) is available for finer protection. The square gauge is fitted here in psi; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are alternatives. Thread is NPT on this model; PT (standard) and G are order options. A mounting bracket can be added if this no-bracket configuration needs one.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and full datasheet figures on request before you order.
The automatic drain (code A) discharges collected condensate by itself, which suits unattended or hard-to-reach installations. The same GFR600 size is also available with a manual or differential-pressure drain, and the filter grade can be specified as 5 um (code W) instead of the 40 um standard.
