The AirTAC GFR600-20T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT3/4, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 600 unit is built for 3/4 in NPT ports, with a 40 um standard filter element and an automatic drain that bleeds collected condensate from the bowl without manual attention. It is the low-pressure regulator type for lines that run at reduced setpoints, and it carries an embedded square gauge scaled in bar so the setpoint can be read at a glance. The bowl on this size is aluminium alloy, and the unit is supplied without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options include manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element, round external gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, a bracket, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, regulated air to the CNC machining cell's air drops, where the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the circuit on a 3/4 in supply main without daily bowl checks.
Conditioning the air feeding a bank of pneumatic control valves and actuators on a process line, with the bar-scaled square gauge letting technicians set and verify the low-pressure setpoint.
Supplying regulated air to conveyor-mounted clamps and cleaning jets on a packaging line, where the 40 um element protects downstream components from water and particulate carryover.
Size and port are the first choice: step up through 200, 300, 400 and 600 as your line's flow demand and port size grow - this unit is already the largest step, 3/4 in NPT. Drain type matters in service: automatic (fitted here) empties the bowl unattended, manual needs an operator, and differential-pressure drains only when the element loads up. The 40 um element fitted here is the standard grade; specify the 5 um W option where finer particulate removal is needed. The embedded square gauge in bar is standard, with external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar available. Thread is NPT on this code; PT is the catalogue standard and G is also orderable. A bracket is optional and not fitted here. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Tell us your line conditions and required flow, and we will confirm the datasheet curve figures for the GFR600 size on request before you order.
The A in the code GFR60020ALJF3T specifies an automatic drain: condensate collected in the aluminium bowl is expelled without an operator opening it. Manual and differential-pressure drains are the other catalogue options if you prefer a different service routine.
