The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body. This size 600 unit has a 1 in NPT port for high-flow lines, an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention, standard 40 um filtration, an embedded square gauge scaled in bar, and an aluminium alloy bowl. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as standard thread and G or NPT as order options, plus drain, filter-grade, gauge-scale and bracket choices. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the main air drop feeding a CNC machining cell, the unit cleans water and scale out of the shop supply and holds a steady regulated pressure to the cell's air tools and clamps, with the automatic drain handling condensate on its own.
Mounted ahead of the cylinder bank on a packaging or palletising conveyor, it strips moisture and particles before they reach the valves and keeps actuator pressure consistent through every cycle, with the bar-scaled gauge giving operators a clear setpoint.
Used on a process skid where quarter-turn pneumatic actuators drive larger valves, it protects the positioners and solenoid valves from water and debris while regulating supply pressure to the actuator specification, draining condensate automatically.
Size 600 with a 1 in NPT port is the largest step in the GFR range, so size it against the flow your line actually needs - curves, not a single rated figure, describe performance, and we will confirm sizing on request. The automatic drain on this unit suits unattended duty; manual or differential-pressure drains are alternatives in the family. Filtration is the standard 40 um grade, with 5 um (code W) available where finer protection is needed. The square gauge is scaled in bar; MPa and psi scales and an external round gauge are options. Thread is NPT here, with PT standard and G available to order; a bracket can be added where the family supports it.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes filter-regulator performance as flow curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and demand, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves before you order.
The automatic drain on this unit ejects collected condensate by itself, which suits installations that run unattended. The GFR family also offers manual and differential-pressure drains, a 5 um filter element in place of the standard 40 um, alternative gauge scales, and PT or G thread in place of this unit's NPT.
