The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Filter Regulator, 1 in NPT, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR600-25 is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation in a single body. This 600-size unit is threaded 1 in NPT, carries the optional W 5 um filter element instead of the standard 40 um, and uses a manual drain, so the bowl is emptied by opening its drain valve during checks. The 600-size bowl is aluminium alloy, a square pressure gauge is fitted with an MPa scale, the regulator is the standard type with a 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) setting range, and a mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and each size can be ordered with a different filter grade, drain type, gauge scale and thread (PT standard; G and NPT as order options). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the shop-air feed to a CNC machining cell: the 5 um element protects directional valves and cylinders from particles and water, while the regulator holds a steady setting for clamping and tool-change actuators.
Conditioning the air that drives conveyor stops, pushers and grip cylinders on a bottling line. The 1 in NPT port suits a main header take-off, and the manual-drain aluminium bowl is emptied during scheduled line checks.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to laboratory automation and test rigs, where the 5 um grade keeps fine pneumatic components clean and the square MPa gauge gives a clear local readout of the set pressure.
Size and port: the 600 size is the largest in the G-series and this unit takes a 1 in NPT port; step between 200/300/400/600 to match the flow your line needs - we can check the published flow curves against your demand. Drain: this unit is manual; choose automatic or differential-pressure drain if you want condensate handled without opening the valve. Filter grade: 40 um is standard and the finer 5 um element (code W) is fitted here. Gauge: the embedded square gauge on this unit reads in MPa; psi and bar scales, and an external round gauge, are options. Thread: PT is the standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is NPT. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so confirm sizing with us before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and required flow and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet on request.
Manual drain means you open the bowl's drain valve to expel collected water and dirt, typically during scheduled checks. Choose it where the unit is accessible and part of a maintenance routine; choose automatic or differential-pressure drain where unattended condensate removal matters. Note this unit also carries the optional 5 um element instead of the standard 40 um.
